Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Who needs gravy when you make these?
Ingredients
- 3 lbs - Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and chopped
- ¾ cup - heavy whipping cream
- 1 stick - butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- salt
- pepper
Steps
- Boil potatoes in medium pot until soft.
- While potatoes are boiling, mix heavy whipping cream, butter and garlic in a small pot and slowly heat.
- Drain potato water, and mash them with a potato masher.
- Mix in heavy cream mixture into the potatoes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
