Ginger Steak Sauce
One of my favorite pairings with a medium rare steak. This recipe is trying to imitate a sauce from the Japanese steakhouse called Nami
Ingredients
- ¼ cup - Onion
- 1 clove - garlic
- 1 tbs - minced fresh ginger
- ½ - lemon, juiced
- 2 tbs - soy sauce
- 1½ tbs - sugar
- ¼ tsp - rice vinegar
Steps
- Put all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
- heat and simmer for 20 minutes until translucent.
- Allow cooling before putting in the fridge. Best served cold with a steak.
