Savory Sweet Potatoes
I never liked sweet potatoes until we had these. Now we can't get enough of them. This recipe is from Amanda Cooks & Styles with some modifications.
Ingredients
- 2 - sweet potatoes peeled, cut into ½ inch cubes
- 1 tbs - olive oil
- 1 tbs - butter
- 1 tsp - salt
- ¼ tsp - black pepper
- 1 tsp - garlic powder
- 1 tsp - dried basil
- 1 tsp - paprika
Steps
With An Air Fryer
- Turn air fryer on 350°F, allow to preheat. In a bowl, mix all ingredients until even coated.
- When air fryer is pre heats, spread sweet potatoes as a single layer to maximize heat distribution. You may have to do multiple batches.
- Remove when crispy, around 15 minutes. They are now ready to eat.
With The Stove
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add butter.
- In a bowl mix rest of ingredients so that everything is fully coated.
- Once the butter begins to lightly simmer, add sweet potatoes from bowl.
- Cook potatoes covered, flipping every few minutes.
- Once the potatoes are fork tender, turn heat up a little and remove lid. Sear a few minutes to lightly brown.
- Serve with your favorite main courses.
