Zuppa Touscana

Also known as "Blake Soup" by my family. This soup is similar to Zuppa Touscana from Olive Garden.

Ingredients

• 1lb - spicy Italian sausage
• 1lb - bacon, sliced into small strips
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 tbs - chicken bouillon
• 2lbs potatoes, cut into ¼ to ½ cubes
• 1 bunch - kale, stems removed and leaved chopped
• 2 cups - heavy cream

Steps

1. In a large pot, fry bacon and spicy Italian sausage until browned. Put aside in a bowl.
2. In the pot, add 6 cups of water, chicken bouillon, onion, and potatoes. Boil until soft.
3. Add bacon and sausage to the pot and allow to cook for 10 minutes.
4. Mix in kale the desired amount. Lean into the heavy side because it softens and wilts.
5. Once kale is evenly mixed, stir in heavy cream. Done!
